Sad, but somehow i did expect it. There is some other places too wich might get same kind of end in near future.
I think Java and .Net have managed to kill a lot of the passion for programming. Hobbyists got jobs, and found themselves on the Office Space treadmill of TPS reports and "teamwork" using languages to program in that are as boring as old Cobol ever was. They just go home hoping to find some cold beers waiting and turn on the Reality Shows and cartoons, then fall asleep and dream of how sexy programming once seemed.
