Hi.

Due some hard facts, i will not continue with this site anymore. Though, havent done so in past two years or so.
Site remains as long as wikidot.com lets it remain but i will not consider even minor updates or so. Forum is closed for anykind of posting and pages can be edited only by administor of this site.

If there is someone who would like to take this place under hes/her hands, contact me via email at krisuDOTvirtanenATgmailDOTcom. Please add "ASCII-WORLD" at subject line since i do get lot's of emails in that account.

I thank all those numerous peoples who has been part of this site since day 1. Too many names to remember.

I'm entirely new to wikidot, so it may take some time before I am adept at this.

Hi.

Recently there came another people who would like to control this site. Pretty wierd, that both of you recontacted to my in few hours :D
Anyway, i email to Steven to check this topic. Maybe you could share your efforts here and co-operate?

You both are new faces to me.

THat is interesting.

I went so far as to remove the "Site Abandoned" from the page heading.
I look forward to hearing from Steven, but it has not happened yet.

Hi folks.

Nice to have you both here. Im still surprised that two persons takes contact about same issue in few hours after months of nothing.
Anyway, i assume co-operating for you two is ok and im glad about it.

I have set you both as admins here and once you two decide which one comes as master admin, i set up that too. I dont have any last wishes, just keep it as ASCII-World :)

If you have anything to ask about editing site, links, old members…just ask.

OK I will take a couple of days to learn how to use this site and see what links are dead etc…

Do you have any downloads that need to be put back online, if so I can get them put back up.

Ok, ill make you both as admins. 4dummies comes as master admin since he was first.

There is no any certain files to put back online. Thanks for helping me out of this and keeping site alive.

Sadly it doesn't look like anyone did anything. Are any of the admins even checking in?

I have my own ASCII art site (I still make ASCII art sometimes). So I do check back here the odd time when it comes up if I'm searching for ASCII art online. Today I wandered into your page about Joan Stark.

Hi Laura and nuageo.

I am one of two original authors of ASCII-World. We spent lot's of time and resources to build this place (and it's ancestor versions). Im sorry that new authors havent had time to work with this place. Though im glad this place is still up, since there is lot's of neat stuff here. Hopefully they remain online.

Just give some push to new staff to wake em up ;)

Hi Laura, I am new here me too.
I visit your website since 2 weeks and I like it a lot. :)
I think a new actif forum for ASCII ART will be very interesting
and It will become popular with time.
